So Ella Carries this "BABY", as she calls her, everywhere with her and I have decided that she will be such a good little mama.
~ She makes sure the baby has clothes on all the time, even if it means making daddy put on a diaper and pants on the BABY for her.
~she brings BABY to the table with her and feeds her and gives her a bottle.
~She takes BABY for walks in the stroller.
~She makes sure that the BABY goes potty on the potty chair even though Ella isn't potty trained yet.
~Ella aslo reads books to BABY
~ and today I found her brushing BABY'S plastic head with her comb.

Update.
So it has been awhile since I have updated anything. so here is a quick update.
Steve has been transferred with John Deere to Eagan Minnesota. He is now an Instructor at the John Deere Training Center. He started Nov 1st and is enjoying his new job.
I was able to transfer with Bank of the West to the Twin cities as well. I was working less and enjoying some extra time with Ella and Family in the area.
Steve, Ella and I also Welcomed a new addition into our Family!
Genevieve Marie Mickolichek was born on 12-29-10 at 2:33pm. She was 7lbs 14 oz and 19 in long! Perfect as can be!! 10 fingers, 10 toes!
We have Also finally closed on our new house! We are very excited to move in tomorrow!
I'll post new Pics of everyone as soon as we have our computer back. most of our belongings have been sitting on a truck in Waterloo, Ia for about 2 1/2 months now.

Well it's Sunday and we're heading back to Iowa. We had such a great time!
Ella started to say "indere" which we're pretty sure means "in there" and gampa. She started the last one in the middle of the night when grandma and grandpa but her in the bed with her at the camper to get her to go to sleep. Grandpa thought that if he turned his back to her she'd fall asleep. Ella proceeded to hit him on the back of the head and say "gampa" "Gampa!"
She also got three theeth while we were camping! what a wounderful time to get them right??
Well i have pictures to post so I'll do that once we're at home.

Hello Again!
Steve, Ella, Shadow and I are in Minnesota for a week vacation. We're so excited to relax for a little bit and watch Ella have fun at the lake.
We're also very excited to announce that we're expecting again!!! Baby Mickolichek is due to arrive Jan. 2nd!
This past week Ella has been pretending to be a dog by playing on her hands and knees and going in and out of Shadow's kennel. I asked her if she was a puppy and she looked up at me and laughed. She then proceeded to go back into the kennel and shut the door.
So my thinking is that yes, this is a good time for a baby brother or sister!
on my days off I will see Ella grab one of Shadow's toys, through it at him, and go get it and run away from him. This starts the process of them taking turns having the toy and chasing after eachother around the house. It's so funny to watch!
Ella Is also talking alot more. one day a couple weeks ago I was going to put her in pajama's. Ella was playing and I all i got out of my mouth was "Ella" before she turned, looked at me, and said "what?". My mouth dropped. I didn't know what else to say back to her.
We're off for now, have a great weekend!!

I know it's been a long time. but i'm back. Ella Steve and Shadow are doing great!
Ella is Walking and Talking and Signing! She's Signing "more", " all done", "eat" "please" and
" Thank You" Although her thank you is sometimes more like she's blowing kisses. but we know what it means and it's so cute!
Ella and Shadow are the best of friends. She loves getting him toys and he like following her around the house. especially when she's carrying food. what a smart dog right?
This past week we've been really working hard at giving Ella her pacifier only at naptime and bedtime. So, on Tuesday when I gave Ella her pacifier to settler her down for naptime she had a huge smile on her face and did a 180. She marched right to her room for naptime and stood infront of her crib. I was Floored! She did the same for bedtime and for bedtime the next night as well. we also found out she's doing it at daycare too! I couldn't believe it. I hope this keeps going it's been great. so, we'll see what next week brings for us.

So Ella's first week of daycare went very well, except for the cold she has...and the cold she gave me. I knew it was going to happen so why not get it over with the first week right?.....oh i'm sure there will be more.
So my friend is getting married tomarrow and Steve, Ella, Shadow(the dog) and I have started the very, very, very long trip up north to God's country (as Ella's Dr. likes to call it). Yes we have made it half way through our 12 hour journey to Thief River Falls, Mn. wish us luck on Sunday when we make the 12 hour trip back to Ottumwa in one day...ugg

This past week has been a big week for us. I started work last Wednesday and Ella went to daycare for the first time. It was really hard for me to drop her off that morning. I brought her to daycare about an hour before I had to be at work and I sat there with her for about 40 min.
After Ella fell asleep in Vanessa's (her daycare lady) arms I left. She did fine at daycare and I somehow made it through as well. I'm thinking it was harder for me than her...
Ella has also rolled over! It was a little bitter sweet moment. Steve and I were trying to put Ella down for bed and she kept rolling over and once she rolled over it would be quiet for a bit and then she would start crying and we'd have to go in and flip her back over. So, we are very proud of her new trick and we're waiting to see it happen during the day!

Hello! We are finally starting our blog. Since we have moved to Ottumwa we are hoping this will help us keep in touch with all of our family and friends. I'll try and get some pics up soon.
